Finally, Agritechnica returns - Dunkermotoren and MAE are exhibiting once again

Argritechnica - DKMAfter the show was cancelled due to Covid in 2021 and once again in spring of 2022, the Agritechnica now returns to Hanover after a four-year break. From November 12 – 18, 2023, the agricultural technology world is getting together at this show to discuss new technologies and industry trends. From global players to hidden champions, everything and everyone is represented at Agritechnica.

Dunkermotoren and MAE, two AMETEK brands, present their agricultural solutions in Hall 15, booth H26.

In accordance with the slogan “Agri goes electromechanical” both companies want to draw attention to the switch from pneumatic to electric motor and blower solutions. These can impress with a long, maintenance-free lifetime, particularly high energy efficiency, and robust design (up to IP69K). Those who are familiar with Dunkermotoren already know about the intelligence of its smart BLDC motors and the options to realize smart farming concepts. Communication interfaces such as CANopen or Ethernet allow easy integration of multiple devices, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring.

Dunkermotoren´s experience with driverless transportation systems in intralogistics provide its customers an advantage in realizing farming robots. The expertise can be adapted to the agricultural market, thus automating repeating tasks in this field as well. Farming robots are used e. g. for feeding, harvesting, or barn cleaning. The BG 75 dPro travel drive combined with the NG 500 hub gearbox is perfectly suited for autonomous systems.

Dunkermotoren and MAE motors are also used in seeding, fertilizing, and milking applications, and are suitable for your individual agricultural project. An innovation for use in harsh environments is the electric actuator CAHB. Combined with a brushless or brushed DC motor it can e.g., adjust the crop ejector on forage harvesters and provides completely new possibilities as an alternative to pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders. With strokes of up to 700 mm and 10,000 N of force, the CAHB is particularly powerful. Compared to pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders the solution is much more energy efficient. Electric actuators have a further advantage with a compact design and controllability of the motor using a precision encoder. Expensive air pressure or oil supply are eliminated. On the other hand, features such as positioning, speed ramps, force measurement, and the creation of individual motion profiles also available if needed.
